Did Allah command us to love Him and His Messenger (peace be upon him)? And when was this command, with evidence? Is it sufficient to love Allah and His Messenger with the heart and intend to obey the command? And what is the meaning of bliss in the grave and the Hereafter? And must one who holds erroneous beliefs and wishes to embrace Islam disavow everything that contradicts the religion?

Love for Allah Almighty is an obligation, and it must supersede all other loves, for it is the foundation of the religion of Islam, and with its perfection, faith is perfected. Allah Almighty says: {And those who believe are stronger in love for Allah}, and His saying: {Say, "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have acquired, trade which you fear its recession, and dwellings with which you are pleased are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people."}

Bliss is everything that a person enjoys, delights in, and desires, such as the bliss of the people of Paradise.

Whoever wishes to enter Islam must disavow what contradicts it. Allah Almighty says: {So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it}, and in the Hadith: "Whoever says 'There is no god but Allah,' and disbelieves in what is worshipped besides Allah, his wealth and blood are protected, and his reckoning is with Allah."
