What is the meaning and application of the noble verse: "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know"?

The exegetes mentioned that the statement of Jacob, peace be upon him, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know," came after his sorrow for Joseph and Benjamin reached its peak. Its meaning is that he does not complain to any of His creation, but rather complains to Allah alone, supplicating and seeking refuge in Him. In this there is great etiquette for the Muslim, manifested in: having good expectations of Allah, not complaining to anyone else, and supplicating to Him alone. Complaining to Allah does not contradict beautiful patience; rather, it is supplication and seeking refuge in Him, glorified be He, as the prophets, peace be upon them, did. As for complaining to the created or distressing oneself with impatience, it contradicts patience.
