What is the ruling regarding the maintenance of a wife who is imprisoned, ill, whose husband is absent, or who is missing, according to the four Imams?

If a husband is imprisoned due to debt, his obligation to provide for his wife does not cease. A sick wife is entitled to maintenance according to the four imams, even if intercourse is not possible due to illness, menstruation, or postpartum bleeding. The wife of a missing person is entitled to maintenance as long as his death has not been legally declared.
