Is it permissible to perform Umrah with the intention of achieving a specific worldly matter, such as the intention of marriage or work, while dedicating the supplication during Umrah to that matter?

Performing Umrah solely for the purpose of seeking marriage or worldly matters, without the intention of drawing closer to Allah, is blameworthy in Islamic law because it is a righteous deed intended for worldly reward. It is not permissible for you to perform Umrah solely for the sake of marriage. Rather, your intention for Umrah should be to draw closer to Allah and to attain His pleasure and reward in this world and the Hereafter. You may supplicate for whatever you wish, both worldly and otherworldly matters, but do not restrict your supplications to worldly matters only, lest you resemble those of whom Allah said: "And among the people is he who says, 'Our Lord, give us in this world,' and he will have no share in the Hereafter."
