How can one get rid of the problem of listening to songs and being extremely moved by them, after failed attempts to quit them?

The questioner should turn to Allah with sincerity and determination for Him to deliver her from this affliction. It is permissible to listen to lawful singing, which is free from musical instruments and indecent or lust-inciting words. It is advised to be keen on righteous companionship, remembering Allah, and attending gatherings of goodness for steadfastness and uprightness.
