Are a mobile phone bill and monthly expenses considered part of the obligatory financial support (nafaqah) for the wife, and what does financial support include in the present era?

The obligatory financial support for a wife includes providing food, clothing, and housing. This is what the majority of jurists have agreed upon. The obligation of these three has been established by the Quran and Sunnah. This financial support varies according to the circumstances of both spouses, or the wife alone, or the husband alone. The wife does not have a right to a percentage of her husband's salary, nor is he obligated to provide luxuries. Nevertheless, there is an encouragement to spend on one's family and be kind to them, and spending on one's family is considered among the greatest acts of charity.
