Is it permissible for a woman to travel to her sick husband in a foreign country without a mahram?

A woman is not permitted to travel without a mahram, unless there is an urgent necessity and she is allowed to travel, such as in the case of caring for a sick husband. However, it must be confirmed that there is no alternative for caring for the husband or a mahram to travel with her. If all of that is not possible, and the husband or one of her mahrams is in the foreign country, then there is no harm in her traveling, provided that her stay is safe. The Shari'ah balances between achieving benefits and warding off harms, prioritizing the greater benefit and averting the greater harm.
