The answer

It is permissible to take an agreed-upon percentage from the applicants if the higher management of the workplace grants permission. Otherwise, it is unlawful because it falls under prohibited gifts to employees and bribery, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not consume your properties among yourselves through falsehood or present it to the rulers that you may knowingly consume a portion of the properties of the people sinfully." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed both the briber and the bribed.

It is also forbidden if the employee pays the fees with his card and then takes them later from the applicants, as any increase in this case is usury. Repentance from bribery or usury is obligatory, and the amounts must be returned to their owners if possible; otherwise, they should be spent on charitable causes.
