What is the legitimate Islamic way to resolve the dispute between a girl whose father has passed away and her brother, and her uncle who is forcing her to marry his son and threatening her with returning to her mother’s house where she is subjected to harassment, knowing that she possesses a large inheritance whose fate she does not know? And is she entitled to request guardianship over herself? And how valid is her uncle's statement that she will not receive her inheritance until she reaches 21 years of age?

We advise you to be patient with your mother and supplicate for her well-being and righteousness, and to beware of mistreating her, for honoring her is obligatory even if she wrongs you. As for your stepfather's harassment, it is an objectionable act, and you must treat him as a stranger; do not remove your hijab in front of him nor allow him to be alone with you. Regarding your share of the inheritance, if your uncle is responsible for it by a court order, he has the right to retain it, and he must spend on you appropriately, and there is no need to file a lawsuit. Finally, we advise you to accept your paternal cousin if he is of good character and religious commitment.
