Is repentance valid if the motivation for it is feeling pain and the negative consequences of sin, knowing that repentance must be purely for the sake of Allah the Almighty?

There is no harm in a person's feeling of the negative consequences of sins being a reason for repentance, because Allah Almighty tests His servants with calamities so that they may remember and return to Him, and this does not prevent the validity of repentance.
