What is the ruling on using stimulants such as marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline, and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), knowing that they do not cause death or illness, may lead to spiritual enlightenment, a different understanding of life, and even conversion to Islam, and that their harms are less than those of alcohol?

Marijuana, mescaline, psilocybin, and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) are all intoxicating and hallucinogenic substances that are prohibited by Islamic law due to the severe psychological and physical harms they cause, such as hallucinations, mental disorders, loss of sense of time and place, in addition to physical symptoms like nausea and accelerated heart rate. These substances are prohibited based on the prophetic principle, "There should be no harm or reciprocating harm," and in accordance with the prohibition of all intoxicants and enervating substances, as their harms outweigh any potential benefits they might have.
