Is it true that a woman who attracts a man is forty miles away from Paradise?

The Sunnah does not contain any evidence confirming that a woman who displays her adornments (mutabarrijah) will not smell the scent of Paradise from a distance of forty miles. Rather, what is mentioned is forty years, as narrated in Sahih Muslim from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There are two types of the people of Hell whom I have not seen: ...and women who are clothed yet naked, inclining [to evil] and inclining [others to evil], their heads like the humps of leaning camels. They will not enter Paradise nor will they smell its fragrance, though its fragrance can be smelled from a distance of such and such." The intended meaning of "such and such" is "forty years," as stated in other narrations.
