To what extent is the narration attributed to Caliph Uthman ibn Affan, with the wording: "Whoever preserves the five daily prayers at their appointed times and perseveres in them, Allah will honor him with nine noble bounties...", authentic, and can the nine mentioned noble bounties be relied upon as a proof for what will befall the one who preserves the five daily prayers?

This narration, with this wording, has no basis in the hadith books that we have consulted. What has been reported in the Quran and Sunnah regarding the virtue of maintaining prayer is sufficient. Early and later scholars have diligently explained the significance of prayer and the virtue of observing it, such as Al-Marwazi's book "Ta'zim Qadr al-Salah" (Glorifying the Value of Prayer). The attainment of the promised reward for those who pray and others is contingent upon fulfilling the conditions and the absence of impediments. A Muslim should perform acts of obedience while having a good opinion of their Lord and hoping for His grace.
