What is the ruling on Hajj if one circuit was missing from the circumambulation (Tawaf) of Umrah, Ifadah, and Wada' due to an incorrect count?

The questioner did not understand how to count the six circuits. The circumambulation (Tawaf) begins in line with the Black Stone and ends there to complete one circuit. This is repeated seven times. If he only performed six circuits, his Tawaf and Sa'i are invalid because one of the conditions for the validity of Tawaf and Sa'i is the completion of seven full circuits. His ihram for Hajj in this case is not valid because he is still in the state of ihram for Umrah.

He must put on the ihram garments and return to Makkah to complete the Umrah (Tawaf, Sa'i, and shaving or shortening the hair). As for the Hajj, it was not valid from the beginning. If he is unable to return, he is considered to be in the ruling of one who is prevented (muhsar), and he must sacrifice a sheep to be distributed among the poor with the intention of exiting the state of ihram.
