Is the Hajj valid in the event of doubt about performing 6 circuits instead of 7 in the farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada')?

The farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada') is obligatory according to the majority of scholars. Whoever abandons it or doubts having abandoned part of it after completing it, should not pay attention to this doubt. However, whoever doubts during its performance must build upon the lesser (certain) amount and complete their circumambulation. Whoever abandons the farewell circumambulation and does not return to complete it, must sacrifice a sheep to be distributed among the poor of the Haram.
