What is the ruling on a wife who prays: "O Allah, judge between me and my husband with truth, for You are the best of judges," and is there anything unlawful in this supplication?

This supplication, "Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who grant decision," was mentioned by Allah concerning Shu'ayb, peace be upon him. He supplicated with it when his people threatened to expel him. Its meaning is: "Judge between us and them in truth, and grant us victory over them."

It is permissible for a wife to supplicate with this if there is a dispute between her and her husband and she seeks the establishment of truth. However, when circumstances are harmonious, supplications for love and affection between them are more appropriate.
