1 min readAlso available in العربية

If what is meant by "Harqus" is temporary tattoo, then it is permissible and does not fall under the prohibited tattooing. However, if it refers to a small creature (like a tick or a flea), then the majority of scholars prohibit eating it because it is considered repulsive, and Allah has made lawful the good things and forbidden the evil things, as He says: {They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, "All good foods have been made lawful for you"} and His saying: {and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil things}.
