What is the ruling on hiring a female musical band for a women-only wedding, which plays musical instruments and performs committed songs that contain nothing unlawful?

The scholars have unanimously agreed on the prohibition of musical instruments—music—except for what is specifically exempted by the evidence, such as the duff (hand drum) for women at weddings and during Eid celebrations. Therefore, it is not permissible to hire a female musical band that plays melodies with musical instruments, even if they sing with committed lyrics and are only among women.
