What is the best way to deal with a husband who is indebted, imprisoned, and a forger? Is divorce the only solution, or should one try to help him despite his lying and neglect of his family?

If the husband earns unlawful money and becomes accustomed to fraud and deception, the wife should advise him, warn him of Allah and the consequences of ill-gotten gains, and threaten him with divorce if he does not abandon his actions. If he is afflicted with a tribulation, she must be patient and help him as much as possible until the tribulation passes. After that, she should present the husband with two options: either rectitude and abandoning the unlawful, or divorce.
