The answer

Filial piety is among the greatest acts of devotion and a means to prosperity in this world and the hereafter. It becomes even more emphasized during their illness, as stated in the Almighty's words: "So do not say to them, 'uff,' and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word," and the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "The Lord's pleasure is in the parents' pleasure, and the Lord's displeasure is in the parents' displeasure," and "Stay by her feet, for there is Paradise."

As for isolation, address it by seeking righteous companionship. If you do not find it, then isolation is preferable, while being cautious of the internet's harms and keen on listening to the Quran, books of Sunnah, scholars' lessons, and studying books of Tafsir and biography, just as Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak used to do. He would sit in his house and say: "How can I feel lonely when I am with the Prophet (PBUH)?" (meaning with his hadiths and reports).
