What is the ruling on shaving the entire head while leaving the front longer than the rest?

Shaving the head is of four types: - The first: Shaving it during Hajj and Umrah, which is prescribed and established by the Qur'an, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus. - The second: Shaving it out of necessity, such as for medical treatment, which is permissible by the Qur'an, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus. - The third: Shaving it as an act of worship, devotion, or asceticism, without being for Hajj or Umrah, or making it a distinctive mark. This is an reprehensible innovation and a characteristic of the Khawarij. - The fourth: Shaving it outside of rituals, neither as an act of drawing closer to Allah nor out of necessity. There are two scholarly opinions regarding this: disliking it (karahah), and permissibility, with the latter being the more prevalent view.

As for shaving part of the head and leaving part of it (al-qaza'), it is forbidden.
