Does divorce occur with the husband's repeated saying: "This is the last day between us, if you do such and such," or "This is the last day between us, if you say such and such, and do such and such"?

A husband's statement to his wife, "This is the last day between us if you do such and such, or say such and such," is an allusive (kinayah) divorce. Divorce does not occur with it unless the husband intended it. If the husband does not affirm that he intended divorce with this phrase, then nothing results from it, because the husband's word is paramount in allusive statements, and he knows his own intention best. If the husband doubts his intention for divorce, then divorce does not occur, because the default is the continuation of the marriage.
