Are there modern applications for selling Musaqah?

Al-Muhaqalah is the sale of a field for a known measure of food. The jurists have agreed on its impermissibility due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of it in the Hadith of Jabir, and its form does not change with the changing of eras.
