What is the ruling on drawing anime characters manually or electronically merely for entertainment, knowing that their most prominent features are large eyes and a simple nose?

It is permissible to draw if only the face is drawn, or if what is drawn would not survive, but if it is drawn completely, it is not permissible, even if the nose or eye is enlarged into a non-existent form.
