What is the ruling regarding the prayer of one who suffers from urinary incontinence most of the time, including during prayer times?

If the discharge of urine is continuous such that it does not stop for a time sufficient for ablution and prayer, or if its cessation is irregular, then it falls under the ruling of سلس ( سلس [ سلس ]) (incontinence). The ruling for such a person is that they perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, then pray the obligatory prayer and as many supererogatory prayers as they wish with that ablution, and whatever discharge occurs from the سلس does not harm them.
