Is الاستخارة prayer rejected because of nail polish on the toenails?

If nail polish (manicure) is merely a color, it does not invalidate the ablution (wudu’). However, if it prevents water from reaching the skin and the nail, then the ablution is not valid with its presence. Prayer performed with an invalid ablution is void. The Istikhara prayer is among the supererogatory prayers that do not have a specific time, and thus, according to the Shafi‘is, it is not to be made up. Repeating the Istikhara prayer is legislated according to many scholars.
