What is the ruling on the the preacher's melodious recitation (tartīl) of the Holy Quran during the sermon, meaning intoning the Quran, not an intonation that alters the meaning?

We have not found any statements from the jurists regarding chanting the Qur'an during the Friday sermon. Chanting the Qur'an is commanded by Islamic law, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "He is not of us who does not chant the Qur'an," meaning, who does not beautify his voice with it.
