Is it permissible to prevent women from entering the mosque with their children during Tarawih prayers?

Women are not prohibited from bringing their children to mosques during Ramadan, as this occurred during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. This is indicated by the hadith: "Indeed, I enter prayer intending to prolong it, but then I hear the crying of a child, so I shorten it, fearing that I may burden his mother," and the hadith about him carrying Umamah during prayer. They must, however, be careful to keep the mosque free from impurities.
