Will the deceased three-month-old child remain at that age in the Hereafter, and will his parents meet him and take care of him, and can they meet if the parents' deeds do not admit them to Paradise?

Muslim children are in Paradise and will never enter Hellfire, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Their little ones are the 'da'amees' (butterflies/tiny creatures) of Paradise. One of them will meet his father—or he said, his parents—and take hold of his garment—or he said, his hand—just as I am holding the edge of your garment here, and he will not let go until Allah admits him and his father into Paradise."

The scholars have reached a consensus that they are in Paradise, and family members will reunite in Paradise. The ranks of parents and children will be elevated so that they are at the same level, as in the Almighty's saying: "Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, and [also] those who have reformed among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring." (Quran 13:23)

Scholars have differed on their ages, whether they remain children or Allah increases their age, but the most preponderant view is that they remain young. The way for a family to reunite in Paradise is by adhering to religion, good morals, and patience with Allah's decree.

If a servant's child dies and the servant praises Allah and says "to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return," Allah will build for him a house in Paradise called "Bayt al-Hamd" (House of Praise). The death of a child is a veil from the Fire. If the parents or one of them enter Hellfire and then exit it, they will meet their offspring there.
