Is what is between the outer corner of the eye and the bottom of the earlobe to be wiped, and what is the correct definition of the temple?

It is stated in Arabic language books that the word "sudgh" (temple) refers to the area between the ear and the eye, and to the hair located in this area, such as the temple between the corner of the eye and the base of the ear, and the hair that hangs over it. Jurists state that "sudgh" refers to the hair that is level with the top of the ear, located between the ear and the eye. There is no contradiction between the definition of "sudgh" in linguistics and jurisprudence, and it must be wiped along with the head during ablution.
