Is the 'Aqiqah accepted if it is from ill-gotten wealth, or if the age of the sacrifice is less than what is stipulated for the 'Aqiqah, with the buyer being unaware of that?

A Muslim must strive to earn lawful (halal) income. If one acquires unlawful (haram) wealth and repents, they must return it to its owner if possible. Otherwise, they should spend it on charitable causes. It is not permissible to spend unlawful wealth as an act of devotion to Allah, such as for an Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn) or an Udhiyah (sacrifice during Eid al-Adha), because Allah is good and accepts only what is good. The Aqiqah is valid even if it is performed with unlawful money, according to the majority of scholars, but there is no reward for it. The age requirements for Aqiqah are the same as for Udhiyah: camels five years, cattle two years, goats one year, and sheep six months. It is sufficient to ask a trustworthy seller about the age of the animal, and one who acts upon the word of a trustworthy seller is blameless.
