Is divorce between parents better for the children and for them if the father continues to commit forbidden relationships despite his commitment to prayer and fasting?

A man's relationship with foreign women is forbidden by Islamic law because it is a means to adultery, which is one of the greatest sins. One must pray for the father's guidance and repentance, and try to advise him with kind words and good counsel, and encourage him to sit with righteous people and visit places of goodness. It is not permissible to fall short in one's duty towards a father, even if he is disobedient, as Allah Almighty says: "And to parents do good" and "And accompany them in the world with

kindness." Divorce is not considered a solution, as it may increase the father's transgression and deprive the children of a family atmosphere.
