The answer

Parents are advised to safeguard prayer and venerate its status, for it is the second pillar of Islam, and its abandonment is closer to disbelief. Young people should fear Allah and safeguard prayer, because it is the first thing a servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment, and gratitude for blessings is shown by fulfilling what Allah has made obligatory. Whoever wishes to be resurrected with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions, let him safeguard the prayers, and let him remember Paradise, Hellfire, and the torment and bliss of the grave. Allah Almighty says: "Guard strictly the (five obligatory) prayers, especially the middle prayer; and stand before Allah with obedience." (Quran 2:238)
