Is it permissible to seek out acquaintances to obtain a job if one is qualified for it? Does repentance for previous deception affect one's qualification for a job? How can one determine their entitlement to a job? What is the ruling on earnings from an undeserved job? And is it permissible to remain in it with repentance?

Cheating on exams is forbidden, and whoever does it must repent to Allah. If the institution requires passing an exam, then the condition must be adhered to, and deception is not permissible. As for asking relatives to mediate for a job, there is no objection to it if the person is qualified for the job and does not displace someone who is more deserving. If the deserving person fears losing their right, then there is no objection to mediation. As for marriage, we advise the questioner to hasten to it, and if he is capable of it and fears falling into the forbidden, then it is obligatory for him.
