Is it permissible to supplicate to Allah to protect me from the evil of what He has created in this world, in the grave, and on the Last Day?

Seeking refuge in Allah for protection from all evil and harm is among the greatest acts of worship, and Allah has commanded us to do so in Surah Al-Falaq: (Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evil of what He has created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of the blowers in knots. And from the evil of an envier when he envies.") The seeking of refuge "from the evil of what He has created" encompasses all creatures and evils in this world, the Barzakh, and the Hereafter, as explained by Ibn Kathir and Al-Sa'di. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught us to seek refuge with "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created" and "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and poisonous creature and from every evil eye."
