Is it permissible to divorce the first wife, towards whom the husband feels nothing, after problems and disputes, while paying her all her dues, given that he has not had children with her, and she rejects the husband's terms and demands terms from him that he cannot meet?

The husband must provide a separate dwelling for each wife and be just between them in lodging. If he is unable to do so, and the first wife agrees to remain despite his absence from her and the second wife residing with him, then there is no blame in the lack of justice as long as she is content. It is preferable not to divorce her. However, if the first wife is not content with that, then there is no blame on him for divorcing her if he fulfills her rights.
