What is the intended goodness (khairiyah) in the Hadith: "Goodness (al-khair) is in me and in my Ummah until the Day of Resurrection," and does this negate goodness for non-Muslims?

The hadith "Goodness is in me and in my nation" is weak and has no basis. Good and evil are inherent in human nature. Goodness predominates in a Muslim, while evil predominates in a polytheist, to the extent that goodness almost ceases to exist in them.
