Is a girl sinning if she asks the young man proposing to her to trim his beard, in order to avoid her family's rejection of him due to his religious appearance?

Exempting the beard is a Prophetic Sunnah, and whoever turns away from the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is not of him. Muslims must accept the Sunnah and not be deceived by the adornment of the words of human and jinn devils. The sister should correct her family's misconception regarding the beard and other Sunan, and clarify that it is not permissible for them to reject a suitor whose religion and character are pleasing, and that their prevention of her marriage to him is considered unlawful 'adl (undue prevention of marriage) that nullifies their guardianship. She should not ask the young man to trim his beard unless that is the only means for marriage.
