Is a wife who died of a stroke after a Cesarean section considered a martyr, even though she was not regular in her prayers? Is it permissible for the husband to wish for death to join her, and to dedicate the reward of reciting the Quran to her? Is it forbidden to object to God's decree regarding the death of a wife without her being old? Is it permissible to pray for an expedited death and to ask to be reunited with the wife in the highest paradise and in the life of the barzakh after repentance and commitment to prayer?

May your deceased wife be rewarded with the recompense of martyrs for the intense suffering she endured in her death. Her inconsistency in prayer does not prevent her from attaining the reward of martyrdom. Every act of devotion you performed and dedicated its reward to her will benefit her. Do not wish for death, but rather ask Allah for a good ending and strive in His obedience, and for Him to unite you with her in Paradise. Your objection to Allah's decree is a grave ignorance, so repent to Allah from this objection. Continue in your righteousness after her death, and there is no harm in asking Allah to unite you with her in Paradise and in the Barzakh (interim period). Receive this tribulation with patience and seeking reward from Allah, and seek another righteous wife, for Allah may compensate you with something better.
