Is scoffing at a person named Hamid, or a person with the kunya Abu Harun, considered scoffing at the beautiful names of the prophets?

The names of prophets, if used by ordinary individuals, do not command the same reverence as the actual names of the prophets. Mere commonality in a name holds no significance. It is disliked to perform Istinja' (cleansing after defecation or urination) with a hand wearing a ring that bears the name of Allah or the name of a prophet. What was mentioned about making fun of a name is not considered mockery of Allah's name or the names of the prophets. However, it is impermissible due to the element of mockery, ridicule, or backbiting, for Allah the Almighty said: "O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent — then it is those who are the wrongdoers." Therefore, it is not permissible for a Muslim to mention his Muslim brother with anything he dislikes, whether in his presence or absence.
