Is it permissible to dislike the names of the Prophets? Did the Prophet know everything, including worldly matters? Is saying that naming is not a sign of love considered disrespect? Will a Muslim be rewarded for naming his children Muhammad?

Naming someone Muhammad is praiseworthy. However, the dislike of using this name may stem from boredom due to its commonality, or out of veneration for the Prophet’s name, lest it be desecrated, as Umar did. As for the belief that the Messenger knows everything, it is incorrect, for Allah alone knows the unseen, and what the Messenger knows is by revelation from Allah. Indeed, regarding worldly matters, he said: "You are more knowledgeable in the affairs of your world."
