Is it valid to abstain from worldly life for worship and the hereafter, and what is the advice to stop disobeying one's parents and to honor them?

Praise be to Allah who has accepted your repentance, but your repentance is not complete except by honoring your mother and being good to her, for the Lord’s pleasure is from her pleasure. Abandoning your studies is not part of repentance; rather, Allah Almighty loves for the committed and upright person to excel in every field.

You must study so that you do not become a burden on people. If you study with a good intention, such as honoring your mother and benefiting Muslims, you will be rewarded, and your study will be an act of obedience to Allah Almighty.

Our advice is that you strive in honoring your mother and in your studies, and be a good example for the upright, so that people are not alienated from uprightness.
