Would I be sinful if I didn't complete my studies, which I cannot bear, and is it true that God will punish me on the Day of Judgment if I abandon my studies, on the pretext that I squandered an opportunity for honorable work, even if these studies cause me great psychological distress?

Try to clarify the ruling to your parents regarding not rejecting a suitor who is pleasing in religion and character. Pleasing one's mother is among the most emphasized duties, unless pleasing her involves something that displeases Allah the Almighty. Therefore, strive to complete your studies and exert effort in them to please your parents, provided there is no Sharia prohibition in studying. Otherwise, you must convince them of your reason for leaving your studies, which is to avoid falling into haram. Strive to act in a way that pleases your parents. There is no harm for a daughter in living according to her parents' wishes. Know that sustenance is in the hands of Allah, and He answers the supplication of whoever calls upon Him, especially in times of dire need, and during times and in places where prayers are answered. A woman is honored, and her care has been enjoined upon society. Thus, there is no impediment to her studying and working, as long as no Sharia prohibition results from it.
