Is a husband entitled to prevent his wife from using "WhatsApp" and visiting her family, especially if he had previously agreed to her condition not to delete the application, while he engages in behaviors such as watching women dance and having other girls' numbers found on his phone?

A husband's harshness towards his wife contradicts good companionship and living together with kindness. A husband's jealousy over his wife is praiseworthy if it is moderate and does not lead to restricting her. Jealousy should not be a motive to prevent the wife from going out with her family or communicating with her friends without suspicion. Trust and dialogue should prevail between the spouses. If the husband insists on preventing his wife, she is obligated to obey him because she does not go out except with his permission, and because means of communication may carry precautions. The husband must protect his wife and household as Allah commanded him, by saying: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire." The husband should love for others what he loves for himself, so he must beware of any relationship with foreign women, and his watching dancers is a reprehensible act. The presence of a girl's number on his phone is not by itself proof of a suspicious relationship, but if the relationship is proven, he should be advised and shown the danger of forbidden relationships.
