Is it inferred from the Hadith, "A severer of kin will not enter Paradise," that a severer of kinship will be punished in the Fire initially, but will not abide therein eternally? Severing kinship ties is a major sin that Allah may forgive for whomever He wills. However, it does not nullify other good deeds, nor is it expiated by martyrdom in the way of Allah, because it pertains to the rights of people.
