Is it permissible for a wife to seek divorce from her husband who seizes her salary and refuses to help her family, and is it better for her to continue the marriage or seek divorce to honor her mother?

A woman has her independent financial responsibility. Whatever wealth she acquires is her property, and it is not permissible for her husband to take anything from it except with her consent and good will, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The wealth of a Muslim person is not permissible [to take] except with his good will." It is permissible for the husband to allow his wife to work in exchange for a portion of her salary, based on mutual agreement between them. If the husband takes his wife's money without her consent, this is an injustice, an aggression on his part, and bad companionship. The wife should continue to advise him kindly, seek the help of good people, and supplicate for his righteousness.
