How can a Muslim steadfast in his repentance from drugs live a righteous life based on calling to Allah, serving his family, lawful marriage, and seeking righteous company that aids him in his religious and worldly affairs, while facing attempts by bad companions to dissuade him from his repentance?

Praise be to Allah, who bestowed upon you repentance before it was too late. Allah rejoices at the repentance of His servant: "Do they not know that Allah is He who accepts repentance from His servants?" and "Whoever does evil or wrongs himself then seeks forgiveness from Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful," and "Do not despair of the mercy of Allah; indeed, Allah forgives all sins." The one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. Rather, their bad deeds are replaced with good deeds: "Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds; for them Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds."

And from the completion of your repentance is that you abandon bad companions and associate with the righteous, worship Allah with them, perform all the obligatory duties, especially prayer in congregation, recite the Qur'an with contemplation, increase your remembrance of Allah, maintain the prescribed remembrances, and listen to beneficial Islamic tapes.
