The answer

You must perform the Friday prayer, and it is forbidden to abstain from it due to work, buying, selling, or similar activities, as Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew," until His saying: "And Allah is the best of providers." If your work prevents you from performing the Friday prayer, then it is obligatory to leave it and replace it with another job; for whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better, and whoever fears Allah - He will make for him ease in his affair. Seeking provision through disobedience to Allah is not permissible.
