The question

What are dry and wet impurities, or the states of impurity in general? And what is the ruling on the transfer of impurity if there is a smell of urine on the bed, and do the verses "So fear Allah as much as you are able" and "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its scope" apply to it?

The answer

Beware of abandoning prayer, for abandoning it is one of the greatest sins, and what you mentioned is not an excuse that permits abandoning it. Dry impurity does not transfer its ruling by contact, whereas the details of wet impurity transfer have been mentioned in previous fatwas. Impurity does not need to be avoided except during prayer, so a pure prayer mat and garment can be designated for prayer, thereby removing the difficulty and constraint. As for abandoning prayer, it is a grave sin, and there is no justification for abandoning it as long as the مكلف (person held accountable by religious law) is of sound mind.
