What indicates the invalidity of this belief is the astrologers themselves disagreeing on the number of zodiac signs, their names, their durations, and their implications for temperaments. For example, the Chinese differ from the Greeks in their names, durations, and implications. Therefore, it is not permissible to rely on horoscopes to determine people's characteristics, as it is false and a waste of time. It is feared that the one who practices it may fall into major shirk. It is advised to occupy oneself with memorizing the Quran and reading books by scholars.
